Excellent work and a well organized report!

Ricky did an excellent job on the inspection, and we appreciated all of his feedback.

Ricky did a FANTASTIC job inspecting a house we were considering purchasing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and impressively thorough. I arrived about halfway through the inspection, and he immediately paused to walk me through the issues he had already uncovered—including a major red flag involving electrical safety. He patiently answered all of my questions and gave me a much greater sense of confidence about our potential purchase.

What really stood out was his dedication. Because the crawlspace was too tight to access fully during the first visit, Ricky actually returned the next day with a rolling creeper to reach those hard-to-see areas. He updated our inspection report with even more detailed photos and notes. Thanks to his thorough report, we were able to negotiate with the sellers to have important electrical work completed before closing. That wouldn’t have happened without him.

Update. Our first experience was excellent and we enjoyed and just sold our first mountain home after five wonderful years! This review is based on our second and now the third time that we have used Ricky from Appalachian Inspections. Amazing Report, Much More Than We Expected. Great Job Ricky !!

To add on to my previous 5 star review here's a follow-up. We had a question about one item in his report. Ricky responded to my email in less than an hour. Then made a trip back to the property, in a HURRICANE to verify our concern. That folks is master class level of customer service!!!!!

Appalachian Inspections is a very professional organization. Ricky inspected our home before we bought. We met up with him just as he was wrapping up the inspection and he spoke to us in a way we could understand any concerns he had about the home and also distinctions of normal home aging.
